Who We Are?

The Birmingham and Solihull Bladder Clinic are group of highly skilled medical experts for the treatment of Bladder and Prostate conditions committed to providing a patient- focussed service.

We have combined skills and expertise of consultants in Urology (including Male Infertility), Urodynamics and Urological Oncology. We are supported by an advanced urological nurse practionner whose teaching and support to patients is well recognised in the West Midlands area. Each consultant has a different area of expertise which enables us to treat a diverse range of urological conditions.

Importantly each consultant is highly recognised as leading experts in their field and consequently are invited to present at relevant national and international clinical conferences and meetings. We have an impressive list of scientific publications, and participate in advisory work for pharmaceutical industry and national bladder and prostate related charity groups and other organisations.

The Bladder Clinic’s Consultants have a successful NHS practice within teaching hospitals, ensuring they receive the highest standards of ongoing training, audit and participate in clinical research programmes vital to the areas of bladder and prostate conditions where new advances in medical science can transform lives.

We will refer patients to other specialists locally or nationally if required.

The Bladder Clinic Principal Staff

	Mr Zaki Almallah MB ChB MD FRCS (Edinburgh) FRCS (Urology) is a Consultant Urological Surgeon and the lead urologist for urinary incontinence and complex bladder dysfunction at the University Hospital Birmingham/Queen Elizabeth Hospital since 2003.		Michele Miletic MSc, is an advance nurse practitioner and continence adviser and the lead urology nurse specialist at the University Hospital Birmingham since 2002.
			Mr Peter Cooke MD FRCS (Urology) is a consultant urological surgeon at the Royal Wolverhampton Hospitals and a core member of the Black Country Specialist Cancer Team.
